Potential Projects:
International:
Honduras ? Build men?s and women?s
dormitory for visiting Medical
practitioners.
Cost of approximately $250,000.
Consists of construction of
dormitory including plumbing and
electricity.
Flight to Honduras
is half as much as flight to South
Africa.
Building has design
already.
Local Architect
available to aid with construction
procedures for local area.
THANDA ? South Africa
Build a ?town hall?
building and water basin.
Cost of
approximately $ 200,000 - $ 300,000.
Consists of building
design and construction along with a
fresh water collection system.
Bolivia ? Out for now!
Local:
Habitat for Humanity:
Directly relates to building.
A requirement to go
on pre-assessment trip.
Possibly November 15th
Science Fair:
Need to get on this
ASAP.
Need to contact
Danielle for any information from
last year.
For International project, We need
to have proposal in by the end of
November. This will insure that if
something is wrong with the
paperwork or the situation changes
we have time to fix or adjust
projects.
Also the pre-assessment trip is
being moved to Spring Break for time
constraint purposes.
Recruitment:
Austin is going to be either
contacting Susan Phillips or the
faculty teaching intro classes in
order to set up presentation days.
A short power point presentation
will be put together and we need
volunteers to go to the classes to
give the presentations.

Faculty and Public
Relations Committee
Initially there will be an officer
in charge of each committee which
hopefully turns into an overseer
position.
Agenda:
Meeting Next Monday October 20th
@ 5:30 PM EN 107.
Chalking Wednesday October 8th
@ 6:30 PM. Meet on west side of
Engineering North.
Sarah said something about
contacting the faculty in the arts
department, but I am not sure why
she was talking about it.
Whitney should be contacting the
Study Abroad department to figure
out if we should move our money off
of Campus.
During the meeting next week the
agenda should be close to the
following:
Discuss Trip to
Louisiana.
Project
Presentations.
Picking a Project.
Volunteers for
committees.
Go to Burns-McDonald
website to vote for EWB!
